Soul care doesn’t require a big event with lots of planning. Some of the best ways to care for your soul are simple connections with your sisters. Here’s an example from the Esther Circle at First Church Fort Worth—a backyard summer party that packed a powerful soul lift for their president, Linda Kennedy. These are her words of joy from her Facebook post.

Sisterhood Soul Care at its finest!!
🩷🩷🩷 these women!

“My heart is filled with girl gang energy from a caftan party my Esther Circle at First Church Fort Worth had last week. Spending time with these women is like a breath of fresh air.  My bucket is full and my soul is light.  These are the people to share life with. God has blessed me with more than my fair share and I’m keeping every single one!”

President of Esther Circle at the FUMC Fort Worth unit
