Blanche Farnam (Aldersgate UMC) heard about the work of the Jerri Savuto Girls Center and was inspired to bring together UWFaith members and friends from three different churches to make t-shirts dresses for all the Jerri Savuto girls.

UWFaith of First Plano sewed 140 skirts for Jerri's girls, and collected 112 T-shirts!

Besides the skirts & shirts for the girls, they sent notes from women and children. They had a special card for the girl they adopted, Charity.

The gifts for the girls were blessed on Sunday, June 15th.

The Plano UWFaith packed up all their skirts & T-shirts into 2 purple suitcases. They also sent $200 cash to help with the luggage fees, and a card for Charity - the girl they 'adopted'!
